ST CLOUD TIMES — There’s a burgeoning underground scene in St. Cloud, and it has nothing to do with music. Well, next to nothing.
“I’m a child of the ’80s, so I have a little bit of a punk-rock mentality,” said Stephen Janasie. “I’ve never really been interested in publishing my writing. I’d much rather share my work with a small group of people.”
Janasie, 39, is the organizer of Poe’s ‘n Perk’s, a monthly poetry open mic at Central Perk coffee shop in downtown St. Cloud.
