A musical comedy based on the book by Rachel Sheinkin, “Putnum County Spelling Bee” tells the story of a group of misfit tweens vying to become this year’s county spelling champ. The show is appropriate for individuals ages 13 and older.

The cast includes St. Cloud State theatre and music students, alumni and community members.
Theatre faculty member Jeffrey Bleam is serving as director, Hillary Vermillion as vocal director and music faculty member Richard Manik as music director.
Tickets are $28 for adults, $24 for students and seniors and can be ordered through the Pioneer Place website at ppfive.com.
Admission is free for St. Cloud State students, faculty and staff and can be obtained by showing a valid St. Cloud State ID at the box office on the day of the performance.
