ST. CLOUD TIMES — A new event series hopes to put a face to immigration policy.
Immigrants Realities, Immigration Series 2018 launches this week. It was created by St. Cloud State University’s Faculty Research Group, which partnered with various institutions.
“The series is supposed to provide different perspectives and lenses on issues of immigration,” said Mónica García-Pérez, an associate professor of economics at the university. “We want to show a portrait of the realities that immigrants face in the state, nationally and in Minnesota specifically.”
