More than 150 braved wind and cold temperatures to complete the Homecoming 5K Run/Walk Oct. 20 along the Beaver Islands Trail.
Top male finisher was Alec Olson, Excelsior, Minnesota (15:19).
Top female finisher was Chandler Keating ’15, Henderson, Colorado (23:24).
Result Highlights
Lino Lakes criminal justice major Eric Hotakainen, 18, finished eighth at 18:32.
Cecilia Jamison, an eight-year-old from St. Cloud finished at 24:51.
President Robbyn Wacker (38:28) finished third in her age group.
Joe Trubacz (22:39), vice president for finance and administration, finished third in his age group. Jennifer Mueller, dean of the School of Education, earned a time of 29:58.
Eddah Mutua, communications studies professor, ran a 25:57. Retired political science professor Evan Jones, 80, recorded a 57:32 pace.
The run/walk was a part of St. Cloud State’s Oct. 17-21 Homecoming.
Race manager was Chris Haukos ’03, coordinator of fitness programs.
