ST. CLOUD TIMES — More than 700 people filled Halenbeck Hall at St. Cloud State University last January to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
“We felt like we were just bursting at the seams,” said Debra Leigh, lead organizer for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast and Day of Service at St. Cloud State University.
So this year, the event has moved from campus to the River’s Edge Convention Center.
“We’re expecting up to 800 people this year,” Leigh said. There are still about 250 spots open at the breakfast. Registration ends at 5 p.m. Friday.
