ST. CLOUD TIMES — Granite City Brass is dedicating this year’s Music in the Gardens performance to its founding member Kenton Frohrip.
Frohrip, a trombone player in the ensemble and faculty member at St. Cloud State University, died May 24. He first brought the members of the ensemble together 20 years ago and played with the group until roughly five years ago.
Granite City Brass will play “A Nightingale Sang in Barkley Square” in memory of him.
