KNSI – Hundreds packed the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud for Monday’s Martin Luther King Day Jr. Breakfast and Day of Service.
The 8th annual event was put on by St. Cloud State University.
Chester Rorvig was at breakfast and said he remembers the day Dr. King was killed.
“I was probably one of the minorities here of people who were alive when he was assassinated in 1968. I was 20 years old then. I remember it very well. Very shocking.”
The St. Cloud man thinks Dr. King would be proud of the way his legacy lives on.
