Four St. Cloud State University students have earned $1,500 scholarships from the Central Minnesota Arts Board.
Awardees are studying both art and music:
- Jessica Stenberg, Big Lake, Vocal Music Education
- Shanna Pirness, Big Lake, Studio Art
- Kaya Inkster, St. Cloud, Art Therapy
- Kristina Zabinski, St. Cloud, Art Education/Integrated Media
The arts board awarded 15 total student scholarships to students from throughout Central Minnesota in April. The Student Arts Scholarship Program is designed to support individuals entering or enrolled in an accredited institution who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in the arts.
A panel of volunteer artists, arts professionals and educators evaluate each applicant according to established criteria, and CMAB directors awarded scholarships to applicants who scored the highest.
