The College of Education and Learning Design celebrated St. Cloud State University’s founding with a Founder’s Day Picnic Sept. 15.
The college celebrated it’s new name and mission by unveiling a new sign showcasing the college’s committment to designing education for the future.
St. Cloud State University was founded Sept. 15, 1869, when students attended the first classes ever held at the campus and the university opened as the Third State Normal School.
