The St. Cloud State University Center for International Disability Advocacy and Diplomacy partnered with Purple Tuesday to host The ABILITY Event on Nov. 1 in the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom.
Purple Tuesday is a celebration to share and discuss best practices to improve the customer experience for people with disabilities. The global event involves businesses, government, key stakeholders and people with disabilities in Minnesota and around the world.
Purple Tuesday was launched in London four years ago, but Minnesota is the first state to launch the initiative in the United States. Events for Purple Tuesday were also held in the UK, UAE, Southeast Asia and Pakistan.
