St. Cloud State University employee Tatum Poirier, Video and Creative Content Coordinator for University Communications, received national recognition in November for a video produced this fall highlighting St. Cloud State at Alnwick, the Alnwick, Northumberland area and St. Cloud State’s Education Abroad programs.
Poirier’s video “Explore Alnwick, Northumberland” was one of 26 honors awarded by Art Film Awards in November, with her video being named Best Cinematography out of videos submitted around the globe.
The video gives viewers a look at the scenery and landmarks around the Alnwick, Northumberland area, as well as offers a view of the Alnwick Castle where students get the unique Education Abroad experience of living and taking classes inside of a castle and in the United Kingdom.
Art Film Awards in an international monthly completion festival that aims to promote filmmakers and their work. Art Film Awards accepts films, scripts, animations, documentaries, web series, trailers and music videos of any length and any genre.
The top three Films of the Month decided by the jury members will get a free interview published on the Art Film Awards website and will compete for the Art Film of the Year Award.
