A St. Cloud State University alumnus has earned two awards for his outstanding leadership, dedication and community involvement in the education field.
Mark Tinsley ’10 was recently named the 2023-24 Minnesota Art Educator of the Year and the K-12 Art Educator of the Year by Art Educators of Minnesota (AEM), which annually recognizes art educators across the state of Minnesota.
Tinsley was first awarded the K-12 Art Educator of the Year, which falls under AEM’s Divisional Art Educator of the Year category. Those awards are given to an AEM member who significantly contributes to the individual’s division in art education.
