Ahead of the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration in January, an annual event hosted by St. Cloud State University and the City of St. Cloud, submissions are being accepted for the 2024 MLK T-Shirt Art Contest.
Those interested in providing submissions are asked to create artwork in the medium of your choice (paint, markers, pencils, mixed media, digital, etc.) and must be submissions of your own creation. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is the inspiration of the artwork, with no other set theme.
Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. Oct. 2 and must be completed electronically. Applicants must be from the greater St. Cloud area or from Central Minnesota. The individual whose artwork is chosen to be used on the 2024 MLK T-shirt will retain the rights to the artwork, will receive a T-shirt, will have the art on display during the 2024 MLK Community Celebration and will receive a stipend.
Learn more about the MLK Community Celebration, which is a series of community events held the weekend prior to and on the day of MLK Day. All events are free and open to the public. More information on the 2024 MLK Community Celebration will be announced at a later date.
