Four St. Cloud State University employees won honors at the recently-announced Minnesota State Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence, including the winner of the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Outstanding Service Faculty Award.
The four award recipients from SCSU are:
Educator of the Year: Dr. Mónica García-Pérez, Professor of Economics
Outstanding Educators: Dr. Dale Buske, Professor of Mathematics
Outstanding Educators: Dr. John Mirth, Professor of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering
Outstanding Service Faculty: Dr. Christine Lepkowski, Director of Undergraduate Programs & Assessment in the Herberger Business School
The awards provide system-wide recognition for demonstrating consistently superior commitment and contribution to student learning and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence at the colleges and universities of Minnesota State.
This year’s Board of Trustees Awards will be given away at a celebratory luncheon on April 17, 2024 in St Paul.
