SCSU Foundation Board welcomes new leadership, new member

Scott Hentges

With July bringing a new fiscal year for the St. Cloud State University Foundation, the SCSU Foundation Board welcomes newly elected chair and vice chair officers, as well as the addition of a new board member — all of whom are alumni.

Scott Hentges ’00 is the Board’s newest member. A social studies teacher for Sartell High School for more than 20 years, he is also the head football coach and has coached baseball, boys’ and girls’ basketball, and started the girls’ flag football program.

Chris Thiebaut ’05 has been named chair of the SCSU Foundation Board, with Charlie Eisenreich ’87, ’93, ’98 to serve as vice chair.

Chris Thiebaut

Thiebaut is the global head of asset operations within global investment operations at BlackRock. An industry leader, he is a current member and former chair of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Corporate Actions Forum. A combat veteran who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom, he mentors veterans and military spouses through American Corporate Partners.

“As a proud St. Cloud State graduate, I’m honored to serve as chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees,” Thiebaut said. “The Foundation plays a vital role in supporting student success and advancing the University’s mission. I’m excited to help lead this important work and give back to the institution that shaped my journey.”

Charlie Eisenreich

Eisenreich is a lifelong educator and administrator, and a former minor league baseball player. He has taught and coached at several area schools, coached in local youth organizations, and served as principal for Tech and Apollo high schools in St. Cloud. In retirement, Eisenreich currently serves as board chair for the Local Education & Activities Foundation for St. Cloud Area School District 742 and consults with schools across Minnesota in fostering positive behavioral interventions and supports.

“As a lifelong St. Cloud resident and St. Cloud State alum, I’m honored to serve our exceptional University as vice chair of the SCSU Foundation,” he said. “Community involvement is important to me, and my hope is to foster growth for the University any way I can.”
