St. Cloud State University has partnered with cannabis education leader Green Flower to launch six new Cannabis Career Certificate programs.

The first cohort begins Jan. 13, with new start dates offered every eight weeks. Topic areas include cannabis product development, cultivation, retail and sales, compliance and more.

As the cannabis industry professionalizes, employers are increasingly seeking candidates with formal training and recognized credentials. These new certificate programs deliver the specific skills and industry knowledge that help professionals stand out and find jobs in this competitive, fast-growing field.

“We’re proud to partner with Green Flower to provide high-quality, workforce-focused cannabis education to our students,” said Jeanie York, dean of Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) at SCSU. “As cannabis emerges as a new workforce industry in Minnesota, these offerings ensure learners gain the skills required to pursue careers in this growing industry.”

These new online programs feature over 50 cannabis industry leaders and subject matter experts. They also include updated curricula, accessible pricing and robust career support through Green Flower’s Cannabis Career Resource Center, all designed to help people start or grow their cannabis careers today.

Visit PACE’s website to explore the Cannabis Career Certificate programs or enroll today.
