St. Cloud State University’s Parking Services has announced new regulations that simplify evening and weekend parking.
Employees, students and guests can now park for free in nearly any campus surface lot from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays and 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekends, including pay lots.
“We hope these changes can provide a positive experience for guests visiting campus for evening and weekend events,” said Kevin Hammond, director of parking, safety, risk and emergency management. “Our goal is to increase event participation, strengthen our community connections and contribute to a more welcoming campus environment.”
These changes do not affect the 4th Ave. Parking Ramp, D-Lot, residential lots, ADA spaces or 15-minutes spaces.
Rules and restrictions still remain in place for overnight parking. New signage reflecting evening and weekend parking changes will be installed this fall.
