Sioux City Journal — Matt Anderson ’08 of Sioux City has been appointed curator of history at the Sioux City Public Museum.
Anderson began work at the museum in June 2001, first as an unpaid intern, then as a paid curatorial assistant. He later assumed the archival records clerk position in September 2002 and the exhibits preparator position in January 2009.
In the curator position, Anderson is responsible for the care and management of the Museum’s exhibits and artifact collections.
Anderson has a Bachelor of Science degree in history and political science from Morningside College and a Master of Arts degree in public history from St. Cloud State University. He served as an adjunct history instructor at Morningside College from 2005 to 2008.
