Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and Delta Zeta sorority members are freezin’ for a reason through Feb. 5 as they raise funds to benefit ill children.

Proceeds from the Freeze-a-thon go to SeriousFun Children’s Network, a Connecticut non-profit that manages more than 30 camps and programs for children with cancer, immunological disorders, blood diseases and the like.

Students, who are staffing a covered booth on the Atwood Memorial Center porch, had raised $1,000 by the morning of Feb. 2.

Founded in 1906, Phi Kappa Tau has 81 chapters and 10 colonies. SeriousFun Children’s Network is its national philanthropic partner.

Started in 1902, Delta Zeta has Delta Zeta has enriched the lives of more than 247,000 alumnae and collegiate members in the United States and Canada.
