St. Cloud State is offering four new graduate certificates to enhance the skills of teachers and educators throughout the region.
Two of the certificates focus on STEM skills.

The STEM Education Graduate Certificate will prepare elementary, early childhood education and special education teachers to integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts into their classes.
Teachers who complete the program will become Project Lead the Way certified.
The Teaching Calculus certificate will help prepare more Central Minnesota educators for the high-demand specialty of teaching calculus at the high school level.
Another nine-credit program, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) will ready teachers to teach students with English as a second language in the United States or venture abroad to teach English as a foreign language internationally. This program is available on campus or to students studying from anywhere online.
The final new graduate certificate, Writing Center Administration, is designed to prepare educators to run writing centers at high schools, colleges or business settings. The 10-credit program is available on campus or online. The program is open for fall registration for spring enrollment.
