St. Cloud Times — Piper Shaw was involved with speech throughout high school at St. Cloud Tech High School, and it was choosing to attend St. Cloud State University that has given her the opportunity to give back and stay involved.
After graduating high school, Shaw went back to serve as a speech team coach with fellow St. Cloud State senior Maddy Wegener.
In her first year Shaw coached students in her main categories in high school, but she has grown to coach in all 13 Minnesota State High School League and seven National Speech and Debate Association categories, said Karmin Schraw, Tech head debate coach.
