KNSI – The new president of St. Cloud State University got her first taste of Summertime by George! Wednesday night.
“This is fantastic, the venue is amazing,” said Robbyn Wacker, who was introduced to the crowd on the stage by St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis before Davina & The Vagabonds started playing their blues and jazz.
“It’s a wonderful place for families to come and it’s just a great way to bring the community together,” she added.
We asked Dr. Wacker about her musical tastes.
“Everything from opera to country, I love all kinds of music.”
She says Summertime by George! will be her Wednesday night destination in the summer from now on.
