Together with the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland His Royal Highness Prince Charles the Duke of Wales spoke briefly with students as he was leaving castle the following a reception at Alnwick Gardens.

Alnwick is one of the oldest and most popular study abroad programs at St. Cloud State University. Each semester student live and study at Alnwick Castle where they learn about British culture and history from British faculty members and other courses taught St. Cloud State faculty. About 3,500 students have studied at Alnwick.
The program is one of St. Cloud State’s more than 30 study abroad programs offered each year. Alnwick alumni will gather for an All-Alnwick Alumni Reunion Oct. 19 during Homecoming weekend.
Would like to hear more about reunion. Time, place etc. I was at Alnwick twice, once as faculty and once as director. One of the best experiences of my 24 years at scsu.
The alumni gathering is 6:30-9 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Olde Brick House in St. Cloud. More information can be found here: https://huskiesconnect.stcloudstate.edu/engage/event/2189999
Wow! That’s really cool! But… There are only SIX students studying there right now??? My group in S/S 1998 had about 47 students. We left the castle a year or so before they filmed parts of the first Harry Potter movie there. Anyhoo, I digress…
