German Night will be presented Saturday, April 20 at 6 p.m. in the Atwood Memorial Center Cascade Room at St. Cloud State University.
This is the first time German Club is putting on a cultural night, and members are hoping to emphasize the importance of transatlantic relations.
The night will include a short presentation designed to feel like a trip around Germany. Guests will be able to explore its sights and landscapes. The audience will also learn about traditional German culture through dances and other performances.
Traditional German cuisine will also be served to guests.
The St. Cloud State German Club currently contains four students from Germany as well as American students who enjoy German culture. They enjoy playing games, cooking traditional German cuisine and talking about traditional German traditions and celebrations. German Night is designed for anyone who is interested in Germany — the language, culture or heritage.
Tickets are being sold at Atwood, Garvey, Cathedral High School and St. Cloud Community College. Tickets for students bought in advance are $6 and all other tickets are $8.
