St. Cloud State University President Robbyn Wacker and Student Government President Surkhel Yousafzai teamed up the first week of classes to send out an important video message to Huskies to Lay Low.
“We strive to be global citizens of the 21st century and take care of ourselves and our community,” Wacker said.
Huskies are all in this together and each person has a critical part to play in keep each other from getting sick, Yousafzai said.
Their Top Presidential Picks for Safety include:
- Wear a facial covering
- Wash your hands
- Cover your cough
- Maintain physical distancing
- If you’re sick, stay home
“Doing these five things means you’re taking control of your health and the health of those around you,” Yousafzai said.
They encouraged students to do the Husky Lay Low for a couple of weeks and keep gatherings low key and small with no more than 10 people and avoid parties and other large gatherings.
Large groups of people increase your risk of contracting COVID-19 and spreading it from person to person,” Yousafzai said. “The more we stick to small groups and our Top Presidential Picks for safety the more likely we are to stay on campus this semester.”
The video was shared in a message to all students and posted to social media. Learn more about what you can do to protect the campus community at the Bring Huskies Home website.
What does “out Top Presidential Picks” mean? If it means, the Biden-Harris ticket, no thank you.
It’s just from President Wacker no politics.
