Registering for courses and reviewing your course schedule before the end of the semester helps students to stay on track or get ahead in their run toward graduation.
Meeting with your advisor when registering every semester helps students to identify courses they need to complete their program of study, manage any obstacles in their schedule, and explore possibilities for majors that students might be interested in to round out their academic plan.
Undecided students can meet with their advisor to explore their major options. An advisor can also help students:
- Plan for study abroad or internship experiences
- Explore with student clubs and intramurals
- Connect with people who can assist with problems they are facing
Presidents Wacker and Yousafzai also encouraged students to make the most of summer by taking courses to get ahead or connect with the Career Center to identify potential summer employment options that are relevant to their major.
Schedule an appointment with your advisor at the Advising and Student Transitions website or find your advisor with the Advisor Lookup tool. Appointments are available both by Zoom and in person.
