St. Cloud State University’s Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management and the Division of Student Affairs, Jason Woods, has been named an inaugural member of the Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) AI Leadership Council.
A leading provider of higher education enrollment management, student success, fundraising, and AI solutions, RNL announced the formation of the AI Leadership Council to bring together a diverse range of higher education leaders to shape the future of artificial intelligence (AI) in the industry.
“Institutions are still wrestling with how AI will impact our institutions and affect how our students contribute to the modern world,” said VP Woods. “SCSU wants to be at the table for these discussions. Our end goal is to understand how we might incorporate AI into our institutions administrative and academic processes with the goal of helping students succeed at SCSU and take that learning into the future workforce.”
Participation in this council will keep the university on the front edge of new developments in AI as we prepare students for the workforce while promoting social justice and equity in education by focusing on AI literacy and ethical AI use.
The AI Leadership Council will serve as a collaborative forum for university executives to discuss emerging AI trends, explore innovative applications, and address the challenges and opportunities presented by this transformative technology. Members will have the opportunity to directly influence RNL’s AI solutions and help institutions nationwide harness the power of AI to enhance student experiences, improve operational efficiency, and achieve their strategic goals.
SCSU’s participation in this initiative underscores the University’s commitment to serving the students of today and the future through institutional innovation, forward-thinking research, innovations in teaching, and overall academic excellence.
