The Midwest Tour included two evening collaboration performances, high school exchanges and a master class.
The choirs performed with the North Hennepin Community College Chamber Singers under the direction of Conductor Carla Miller at Messiah United Methodist Church in Plymouth. They collaborated with the Briar Cliff University Choir led by Conductor Sean Burton at Grace United Methodist Church in Sioux City, Iowa.

A portion of the proceeds go toward scholarships for music students at St. Cloud State.
The choirs also conducted high school exchanges with Spectrum, Robinsdale-Armstrong and West Mankato high schools, toured the National Music Museum in Vermillion, South Dakota and participated in a master class in the Basilica of St. Mary with alumna Teri Larson ’93.
The Concert Choir is St. Cloud State’s premiere large choral ensemble consisting of about 70 auditioned singers from throughout campus led by Matthew Ferrell, director of choral activities. The group’s repertoire includes songs from the 15th century to the present.
The Chamber Singers is a premiere choral ensemble of 20 auditioned members from the Concert Choir, also conducted by Ferrell. The group performs a variety of challenging repertoire from early Renaissance to contemporary.
