St. Cloud State won four-straight games May 6-9 to win the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) baseball tournament in Sioux Falls. UTVS TV and KVSC 88.1 FM combined for 16 Sevareid Awards at the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association banquet April 11 in Bloomington, Minnesota. The annual awards are named for Emmy- and Peabody-winning reporter, the late Eric Sevareid (1912-1992).
