SCSU, Veeva offering MedTech students unique, real-world clinical technology experience

St. Cloud State University and Veeva Systems announced this summer a partnership to enable MedTech clinical research students with unique, hands-on technology training. 

SCSU integrated Veeva Vault electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) into its graduate curriculum for the applied clinical research program located in Plymouth, Minnesota at the start of the Fall 2023 semester, integrating it into four courses centered around the initiation, execution and reporting of clinical studies.

Huskies celebrate start of winter during second annual Winterfest

St. Cloud State University hosted its second annual Winterfest celebration Dec. 6 in Husky Plaza on campus, bringing together the entire #OurSCSU community of SCSU students, alumni, faculty, staff, emeriti, friends and the broader community. 

The evening featured campfires and s’mores, hot chocolate and cider, horse-drawn wagon rides, food and fun winter activities, all beneath winter lights throughout a festively-decorated Husky Plaza. Members of #OurSCSU community gathered to catch up and reconnect while celebrating the start of winter in Minnesota.

SCSU President Robbyn Wacker named to 2024 TCB 100 list

St. Cloud State University President Robbyn Wacker has been named to the Twin Cities Business (TCB) magazine’s 100 People to Watch in 2024.

The TCB 100 list is the “little black book” which annually recognizes individuals within the state of Minnesota likely to make news and drive change in the year ahead. It includes not just business, but also the government and philanthropic worlds that intersect with business.

St. Cloud State University’s Multicultural Student Services will present the 15th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference on Jan. 25-27.

The 2024 Power in Diversity Leadership Conference will feature the theme “Inclusive Innovation,” which will center the transformational impact diversity brings to an organization’s creativity, adaptability, responsiveness, prosperity and innovation.

SCSU Campus Recreation raising toys for area children during holiday season

St. Cloud State University’s Campus Recreation is accepting donations of toys to gift to St. Cloud area children during the upcoming holiday season.

Campus Recreation is holding its annual Dolls for Children program through Dec. 14, partnering with the Southside Boys and Girls Club and Promise Neighborhood in an attempt to put a smile on children’s faces over the holidays.

Winners announced for 2023 Miller Center Student Art Show

Winners of the 2023 Miller Center Student Art Show were announced Nov. 16 on the first floor of the James W. Miller Learning Resource Center at St. Cloud State University, with Aiden Spiess taking first place for her piece “Time?”

The Student Art Show, sponsored by the St. Cloud State Library and the Art Student Union, showcases juried student art and provides interested students the opportunity to organize, advertise and put on an art show.
