St. Cloud State University alumnus Raj Bhandari ’08 had his company, Sciencix, recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the 2023 Small Business Exporter of the Year in March. Bhandari, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology from SCSU in 2008, is the sole owner and president of Sciencix.
Education Minnesota announced 11 finalists for the 2023 Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award, with a St. Cloud State alumnus making it on the narrowed down list.
Joe Schulte ’01 ’08 advanced to the round of finalists after advancing to the list of 44 semifinalists announced in March out of the initial list of 132 candidates named.
St. Cloud State alumna Kayla Stielow ’22 was recently announced as the 2022 St. Cloud State University Distinguished Thesis Award recipient for her work on Huskies Go to War: St. Cloud State During the World War II Era.
Stielow’s thesis highlighted the student experience at SCSU during World War II. In addition to presenting historical research and analysis of campus community actions and reactions, she also created a walking tour of significant places on campus during the war.
