2024-25 Huskies Scholarships applications now open
Huskies Scholarships are now open and accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year. Most scholarships have a deadline of March 24, 2024, though some vary.
Last academic year, 745 St. Cloud State University students received scholarships totaling nearly $1.4 million through Huskies Scholarships.
SCSU celebrates launch of Honors College
St. Cloud State University celebrated the official launch of the SCSU Honors College on Jan. 30 with a program held in the Atwood Memorial Center Alumni Room.
The SCSU and surrounding communities gathered to learn more about the direction of the Honors College, as well as top priorities for the upcoming year and how to become involved.
SCSU recognized for Most Affordable Online Computer Science Program in 2024
St. Cloud State University has been recognized as one of the top institutions nationwide in 2024 for its online program offerings by BestColleges, a leading online resource for college planning and advice.
SCSU was ranked second in the nation for Most Affordable Online Computer Science Program, noting SCSU’s convenient blend of foundational and specialized courses within the program, which specializes in big data applications or artificial intelligence and machine learning.
SCSU ranked top institution for online master’s degree in 2024
St. Cloud State University has been recognized as one of the top institutions in the nation in 2024 for online learning at the master’s degree level by OnlineMastersDegrees.org, a research-backed resource that helps students find scholarships, resources, financial aid, and connect with accredited colleges and universities across the country.
SCSU hosts 15th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference
St. Cloud State University’s Multicultural Student Services, along with LeadMN, Minnesota State Office of Equity and Inclusion, and Minnesota State institutions, presented the 15th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference on Jan. 25-27 at SCSU.
The 2024 Power in Diversity Leadership Conference featured the theme “Inclusive Innovation,” which centered the transformational impact diversity brings to an organization’s creativity, adaptability, responsiveness, prosperity and innovation.
SCSU students interact with Minnesota’s largest employers during 2024 Diversity Job and Internship Fair
St. Cloud State University students connected and interacted with over 130 of Minnesota’s largest employers on Jan. 26 during the 2024 Diversity Job and Internship Fair held throughout the first and second floors of the Atwood Memorial Center.
Students had the ability to meet with some of the state’s largest business, technical, healthcare, government, non-profit and education employers.
Date set for SCSU Day at Target Field in 2024
Show your support for St. Cloud State University and the Minnesota Twins during SCSU Day at Target Field on Saturday, April 20 when the Minnesota Twins take on the Detroit Tigers at 1:10 p.m. in Minneapolis.
This year, those who purchase tickets through the special package will receive a ticket to the game and a co-themed SCSU Twins jersey.
SCSU’s Department of Music to host MN Made New Music Festival
St. Cloud State University’s Department of Music is hosting the MN Made New Music Festival on Jan. 25-26 in the Performing Arts Center on campus. The two-day festival is free and open to the public.
This year’s ensemble-in-residence is 113, a collection of composers and performers of new music based in the Twin Cities that curates concerts, seminars, workshops and more throughout the United States.
Students connect with organizations, businesses during 2024 Winter Involvement Fair
SCSU students interacted with nearly 100 businesses and organizations spread throughout the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom on Jan. 24 during the 2024 Winter Involvement Fair (Sidestreet).
The Winter Involvement Fair, organized by the Department of Campus Involvement, is a one-stop-shop for students to learn about hundreds of involvement opportunities available at SCSU and how to find news ways to meet new people, build skills, network and get involved on campus and in the community.
