Thomas G. Endres ’82 will present his book “My Costume, Myself: Celebrating Stories of Cosplay and Beyond” on Tuesday, May 30 from 5-7 p.m. in the Atwood Alumni Room. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.
St. Cloud State University’s Husky Productions has earned even more national recognition. The student-run organization was recently named a finalist for four Sports Video Group (SVG) awards during the 2023 awards process.
Since 2006, Husky Productions has earned 14 SVG awards and will find out if it will be adding to that list when the award winners are announced on May 31 during an awards presentation at the SVG College Summit in Atlanta.
St. Cloud State University celebrated the seventh year of the Dr. Potter Bigs on Campus Program with an end of year celebration on May 10 in the Atwood Memorial Center.

The hackathon took place over three days, from April 20-22, with core hours that all teams were expected to be present in the College of Science and Engineering’s ISELF building to meet with tech mentors from Open Systems International.
In the end, 50 students on 11 teams presented software products such as EV car charging applications, apps that estimated solar energy potential, an app to trade renewable energy on markets, energy efficiency apps to address varying grid demand, and even a phone app for consumers to minimize food waste.

About 1,077 students out of 1,259 total graduates participated in Commencement ceremonies throughout the day.
