Haley O’Brien, a 2013-14 senior from Excelsior, has been crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2014. She competed for the Miss USA title during an NBC television broadcast June 8 live from Baton Rouge, La., and made it into the top 20. O’Brien is studying medical biology and psychology, with a minor in chemistry.
St. Cloud State students networked with peers and participated in a day of action and a commitments challenge at the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) 2014 meeting at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz., in March. The seventh annual conference drew more than 1,000 college students from 50 states and more than 80 countries.
