Workers with the Summer Food Program fed hundreds of hungry kids this summer. The annual food program served an estimated 60,000 meals this summer. The meals are put together each morning in the Garvey Commons kitchens before being distributed at schools, community centers and apartment complexes throughout the city.
Sunny skies brought thousands to campus for the 40th annual Lemonade Concert and Art Fair featuring more than 250 art vendors and musicians including the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra. The event also kicked off the city’s Granite City Days events and marked the start of the summer edition of the university’s Celebrate! St. Cloud State
With degrees in hand, about 1,200 students participated in Spring Commencement 2013 in Halenbeck Hall and are now ready to take the next step. Some may even be going to work for the world’s largest companies that actively recruit St. Cloud State students including Wells Fargo, Target, ING Direct, U.S. Bank and the U.S. government.
