Communication Studies Professor Eddah Mutua has been selected to serve as a member of the National Communication Association’s (NCA) Task Force on Fostering International Collaborations in the Age of Globalization.
UTVS TV and KVSC 88.1 FM combined for 16 Sevareid Awards at the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association banquet April 11 in Bloomington, Minnesota. The annual awards are named for Emmy- and Peabody-winning reporter, the late Eric Sevareid (1912-1992).
Six broadcasters from St. Cloud State’s student-run radio station 88.1 FM KVSC earned awards, including three top honors, in the 2014 Minnesota Associated Press Broadcasters news contest.
