The National Dance Coaches Association has named St. Cloud State University Dance Team’s head coach Brittany Kwallek as a College Coach of the Year finalist. Kwallek has coached for six years, leading the team to five national championships and 11 top-three finishes.

St. Cloud State University has been awarded a $205K training grant in partnership with Central McGowan. The grant was recently awarded by from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) under the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) funding.

The North Hennepin Community College and St. Cloud State University bands will perform a joint concert on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. Presenting a program entitled “Marches for March,” each group will perform a variety of works for winds and percussion celebrating the anticipation of spring and all the warmth and energy it promises to bring.

Huskies Invent returns on March 22, offering a unique challenge for students from Thermo-Tech Premium Windows and Doors. Huskies Invent is a non-stop weekend “Invent-a-thon”. Student teams have 48 hours to develop and present their unique solutions to real-world problems from industry partners.
