It’s a reflex, a response to discomfort in the face of an experience people cannot fully understand. This is why local people with disabilities are working to change
The rehabilitation counseling department “Embracing the Difference: The Ability Event” brings awareness of the ability that people with disabilities have. The event, held April 13, was made up of experiential learning stations led by people with disabilities where participants can experience what it feels like to have that disability and how people with disabilities adapt
