St. Cloud State University Campus Involvement celebrated 50 years of involvement fairs this September with an in-person and online Mainstreet events. Mainstreet involvement fair is held at the beginning of each fall semester to help students connect with more than 200 groups and organizations on campus. Student organizations promote their groups and recruit members.
Running Club hosted the Husky Indoor Meet, its first annual Indoor Club Track Invitational March 20 in the Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. The club hosted three college running clubs at the event, including the University of Illinois, Iowa State University and the University of Minnesota. Taylor Mazur, of the Husky Bass Fishing Club, has qualified for the National Championships March 30-31 at Chickamauga Lake in Tennessee. Mazur placed 26th out of 141 participants at the national championships qualifier at Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. St. Cloud State University is honoring the 2018 Student Organization Awards during an award ceremony March 28. The recipients are chosen through a selection process that involves applications submitted by themselves or from other organizations or people. The applications then go through a group of judges comprised of faculty, staff and students. “We have had
