Center for Information Assurance Studies, St. Cloud State University has submitted the application for Information Assurance Courseware Evaluation Program to the National Security Agency (NSA) on Jan. 15, 2008.
Two departments of St. Cloud State University, namely Information Systems (IS) and Department of Computer Networking and Applications (CNA) worked jointly and met the minimum national training and education standards for the duties and responsibilities of: Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals – NSTISSI 4011 and Risk Analyst – CNSSI 4016.
Successful IACE mapping is a prerequisite for applying to the National Centers of Academic Excellence in IA Education Program. The school is looking forward to hear from NSA around the third week of March, 2008.
