I would like to thank all donors for their support to St. Cloud State University. Thanks to their generosity, I can afford to continue my education and play basketball here at SCSU.
I am humbled that I was selected to receive a scholarship – it’s an honor and privilege that I take to heart and I will always be thankful to those who helped me. I have two younger cousins who play basketball, and I preach to them that it’s not just about how good you are in the sport but how hard you work on and off the court. I want to make things better for them and others. It’s important to do something to make a difference in someone else’s life. Thanks to others, I am able to pursue my dreams with the understanding that I will play a role in someone else’s life and help them to realize their dreams. Thank you.

Most of my college mornings began with 5:30 a.m. practice on the Iowa River. And while some days we witnessed the most beautiful sunrises or experienced a solitude unknown to many, I mostly remember the feeling of accomplishment and confidence that came from being a part of the team and achieving our goals. I give to St. Cloud State Athletics because I believe in the athletics experience and its impact on students – I want Huskies student athletes to graduate knowing they are prepared and able to conquer their dreams. Your gifts to the Huskies Fund provide our programs with the resources necessary to recruit and develop student-athletes who make a difference to their teams, and to the communities they will later call home.
