St. Cloud Times — Gov. Mark Dayton wants to send more state money to the University of Minnesota, but he won’t discuss extra spending on the other state college system until it works out an internal dispute.
Faculty and students in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system have clashed with their chancellor over his proposed system revamp known as Charting the Future. Dayton says he won’t include additional funding for MnSCU in his budget proposals until the parties work out their differences.
