St. Cloud Times — Twice a week, the women of the St. Cloud State University men’s hockey cheer team work into the night to perfect their routine.
From 9-11 p.m., the squad of 13 owns the primary rink at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The sound of blades on ice is drowned out by the coach who, like a metronome, counts a beat of eight as the woman flip, toss and glide across the open ice.
