Eden Prairie News — Moms and dads have coached their sons and daughters for years and they’ve done so at nearly every level.
What’s less common is siblings coaching siblings. It has happened, and happens, but mostly in the younger age groups.
Eden Prairie sisters Alicia and Jessica Shuman are exceptions, as they’ve taken a big-sister-little-sister coaching dynamic to college. Alicia, the big sister, cheered for the Eden Prairie High School hockey team before cheering four years for Division I St. Cloud State University. She’s now the head cheer coach for the Huskies men’s hockey team.
