St. Cloud Times — It was a long time coming for the St. Cloud State University wrestling team.
The Huskies captured its first team national title in the program’s –– and school’s –– history last Saturday night at the Division II National Championships in St. Louis.
The school honored the team with a short celebration and program Tuesday afternoon at the Atwood Center. Around 300 people came to watch a video of the championship run and hear from the team’s head coach, Steve Costanzo, and the Huskies’ six All-Americans.
