St. Cloud Times — Karen Pundsack ’95 has been named the permanent executive director for the Great River Regional Library system.
The library board of trustees voted Wednesday to hire Pundsack, who had been serving as interim executive director.
She was selected from three applicants after the board conducted in-person interviews following a nationwide candidate search.

She is a graduate of Albany High School, and has a degree in mass communications from St. Cloud State University. She also has a master’s degree of library and information science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
