St. Cloud Times — Jack Caputo is expecting to see some “tears of joy” Monday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Granite Post 428.
On Memorial Day, The VFW will host a dedication ceremony for its granite monument honoring those with connections to the St. Cloud area who have served in the military.

– St. Cloud Area Metropolitan Veterans Council Memorial Day parade and ceremony, St. Cloud VA Health Care System: The ceremony is moved indoors to the auditorium in Building 8. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. Lt. Col. Jeff Howe, a logistics officer in the Minnesota Army National Guard and the state representative for District 13A, will speak at the ceremony, which is free and open to the public.
Howe is a 1998 graduate of St. Cloud State.
