St. Cloud Times — When Chad Braegelmann walks down the hallway from his office, he can run into someone he has known for many years.
St. Cloud State University head baseball coach Pat Dolan was Braegelmann’s American Legion baseball coach when he was in high school. Braegelmann, 37, was named St. Cloud State’s head volleyball coach in July.
“We had a head coaches’ meeting (Tuesday) morning and it was very weird sitting in there with Pat. … I don’t know if we’re peers yet, but something closer (to it) than we were 20 years ago when I was playing for him,” Braegelmann said with a laugh.
The Huskies volleyball team opens its season at 1 p.m. Friday against Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, in the opening round of the Central Missouri Tournament.
