Alumnus hired to lead major trade group

Stephen Ubl ’91, a speech communication and political science graduate, has stepped down as president and CEO of AdvaMed, a medical technology trade group. He’s slated to be president and CEO of PhRMA, an association of biopharmaceutical research companies such as Bayer, AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
