St. Cloud — St. Cloud State men’s hockey was opportunistic offensively, won the special teams battle and was better defensively than it was on Friday.

The seventh-ranked Huskies beat fourth-ranked North Dakota 6-1 on Saturday in an NCHC game played before a raucous standing-room-only crowd of 5,487 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
The teams split the series and remain tied for the NCHC lead with 5-1 conference records.
